"The germ of this project took place in the Soccer Tournament for Inclusion, in which several Murcian entities that are committed to social inclusion have participated since 2014. The Fundación CAP Ciudad de Murcia (sponsor) and Fundación Cepaim (participant), seeing the motivation that football meant for the boys in their inclusion itineraries, fantasised about starting a team that would compete throughout the year. In the 2018-2019 season that dream came true. The collaboration agreement between both entities had its first step in the creation of the Ciudad-Cepaim, a football team registered in the Second Autonomous category formed mostly by refugees and at risk of social exclusion. which also became the affiliate of the first men's team. We are the only refugee team in Spain. "
